Principal's Message

Education is not preparation of life, Education is life itself. Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world. The aim of education is the knowledge, not of facts but of values.

Sant Mohan Singh Khalsa Labana Girls College is the beautiful realization of the dream of Sant ji who planted this sapling in 1981 which today has blossomed into a premier multifaculty postgraduate institution.

We with the support of management committee and staff of college create safe and social environment for our students to grow, prosper and reach new heights. We are committed to fulfill students’ aspirations, build their self esteem and develop their personality.

We follow mentor system under which each student is put into multipronged web of teacher. Department of Youth Welfare, Department of Physical Education, Yoga Club, Career Guidance cell, Red Cross Society, Red Ribbon Club, Women Cell, Gender sensitization cell, Road Safety Cell, Environment Club and NSS offer integrated services for the multifaceted developments of our students. Our teachers strive to teach not only academic programmes but also life skill programmes like Fashion Designing, Cosmetology, Early child care and development, Mass Communication, Functional English, Information Technology, E-banking etc.

Our college is a vibrant learning community that encourages partnership among teachers, students and their parents through PTM’s. The strength of this partnership is certainly reflected in the growth and success of our students. The supportive and inclusive approach of management and staff ensure that every student is personally accompanied with the best to develop herself to be a happy, efficient and productive citizen of our country.

Our vision is to provide ideal value based education to empower women in the spirit of our ancient cultural heritage combined with modern outlook.
